Memories to Move Forward (Happy New Years 2017)

Hey guys, its me Gus. Well...2016 has been rough one to not just me, but to everyone one also in the fandom and the world. I know there has been a lot of drama here in the fandom, conflict around the world like the election, and so on. We even face loses of people who had inspired the world, and even lose love ones in the fandom due to recent event within the fandom that am not going in to. Heck, even I am facing some stuff in my life where am having sort of a mid life crisis for a while, as so for my close friends as well.

All I can say is that...well...its been hard year for us all. But that doesn't mean we should let it consume us for the new year. Infact, instead of looking at all the bad aspect, we should look at all the good aspect that we have all face  not just this year, but for all the past years before. Sure it was never perfect, but we have that moment that has shape us who we are and we cherish it through our memories and through all of our friends and family who continue to show their love and support to us all. Infact, this should applied to not just the fandom, but to the rest of the world. Yes, there will be more hardship events and challenges in the future, but as long has we hold these hopeful memories to help us through, the future will not be soo dark at all.

With this in mind, I decided to draw this and its something personal to me. Even though am every cheerful creative guy, I have moments where I shut my self from the world due to eventful stuff I had to face this year and I tend to believe I lost hope. But, when ever I am like this, I look back to picture to the time where I was truly happy which were my days at High School where I made so many good memories with so many amazing and wonderful people who really did change my life due to my pass of being bullied constantly through all of my elementary and middle school years, and it was so hard for me and my family. but thanks to high school friends, who are now my true close friends, I have a purpose to keep moving forward through my remanding years of College and to continue on improving my art for the fandom, and I use this memories to look forward for the future and continue on growing up as I still need to learn more of what it means to be an adult.

Not only that, this art here doesn't just apply to me, but can apply to any of you or to anyone one else as we should cherish those good memories from 2016 and to all past years as we enter the new year of 2017. So I wish all of you guys the best of luck for the new year and I hope we all have better year for 2017.
